Why BluSki?
BluSki
was formed out of our disappointment of the holiday experience from
several major tour
operators.
We
thought that we could offer a better holiday experience, with a
personal service and still offer excellent value for money.
Some years ago we started to take groups of friends independently, and because of our
knowledge and working relationships with the locals were able to cater to their
specific needs. We got such wonderful feedback and were
constantly lobbied to set up our services on a professional basis.
Most
of our clients are busy people, and when they go on holiday they want
to make the most of the limited time they have. Our aim is to
make sure their holiday is the best it can be. Clients can
prebook equipment hire, ski school, lift passes in the knowledge that
everything is sorted out before arrival in resort.
Now a large proportion of our clients come from personal
recommendation, and we now have an enviable reputation to maintain.
We deal with small
numbers of clients and can therefore give a very personal service.
BluSki
was set up to offer the holiday
experience that is often promised, but so rarely delivered.
Local knowledge
We’ve spent countless
seasons in the Alps and worked in both summer and winter and therefore
we know the locals personally. The saying goes “never underestimate
the need for local knowledge”. We put this local knowledge to
use to ensure that your holiday
is the best possible.
We choose accommodation based on our experience, and we ensure that it
meets our exacting standards. As well as the popular hotels and
apartments we have exclusive access to a number of quality private
apartments.
We choose the ski/boot/board hire carefully to ensure that there is a
range of equipment to meet your needs as well as competent English
speaking staff.
We
only operate in La Thuile, and our commitment to the resort means that
many of the locals are our friends. We can therefore negotiate
similar discounts to the major tour operators. As we don't have
the same massive overheads, we offer excellent value for money.
But why not travel
independently?
A growing number of people are
moving away from the offerings of major tour operators and booking their
holidays independently using the internet.
However, particularly with activity holidays, there are some risks. What happens if something goes wrong? You’re
in a foreign country and your airport transfer doesn’t arrive….
the hotel isn’t up to scratch; the food is inedible. The ski
instructor speaks 3 words of English… there's no organised apres
ski... That potential small saving suddenly isn’t that
appealing after all…
BluSki
offers the benefits of independent travel, but with the added
reassurances that come from local knowledge and English speaking
staff.
