Alpine/Snowboard

Naturally we have a good relationship with the local Italian Ski School who provide ski teaching of both ski and snowboard in group classes and private lessons. The ski school splits clients into English and Italian speaking, so you can ensure that the instructor speaks English.
You can also do a 1-day ski or snowboard taster For those seeking a lift from that intermediate plateau, we offer private lessons with our own British instructors. Use of video during the lesson gives immediate visual feedback to the student and allows greater speed of progression. We can also arrange for any footage shot to be written to DVD to take home with you. Particularly popular are our 'learn to ski off-piste' courses where English instructors will teach the techniques to allow you to enjoy the thrills of untracked snow.
Telemark
In recent years La Thuile has become somewhat of a mecca for Telemark.  That most elegant style of skiing where the binding allows the heel to come free of the ski is being enjoyed by a growing number of skiers.  There are now several English instructors offering both formal courses and ad hoc lessons. We work closely with our great friend and renowned ski coach Kim George from www.ski4real.com

Heliski

Outlawed in neighbouring France, heliskiing is alive and well in Italy. Drops to both Miravidi (3068m) and Rutor (3485m) glaciers are available with varied routes down for Intermediate and expert skiers.
Considered by many to be the ultimate adrenaline rush, we offer trips under the supervision of a qualified guide.  We can provide full safety equipment including backpacks, transceivers, shovels and probes.
